About Legacy Mobility Inc.

Legacy Mobility Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based on Sanibel Island, Florida. We built this platform so that every visitor to Sanibel and Captiva Islands — regardless of age, ability, or budget — can enjoy a barrier-free beach vacation. Through our website, families and individuals can reserve beach wheelchairs, mobility scooters, beach cabanas and tents, beach chairs and umbrellas, and baby equipment, all delivered directly to their vacation rental or resort at no extra charge.

The app is designed for vacationers, seasonal residents, seniors, guests with mobility challenges, parents traveling with young children, and anyone who needs a little extra support to make the most of their time on the islands. Because we believe access to the shore is a right and not a luxury, every price on our platform is a suggested donation: pay what you can, and if you cannot afford to pay anything at all, you can still reserve the equipment you need. Generous donations from those who can pay more help sponsor reservations for guests who cannot.

Legacy Mobility Inc. was founded and is operated by a small, local team on Sanibel and Captiva who know the islands, the beaches, and the needs of our visitors firsthand. We are not a faceless rental company — we are your neighbors, committed to building a more inclusive shoreline where everyone belongs. Every donation stays local and directly funds equipment, maintenance, and free delivery for the next family that needs it.
